NATCHITOCHES –
The Northwestern State Lady Demon basketball
team added another player to its incoming
class on Wednesday when Andrea Miller out of
Starks High School signed on to play next
season.
In her career at Starks, Miller scored more
than 4,200 points and had over 1,000 assists
– playing varsity ball since being a seventh
grader.
She had a career average of 16.7 points per
game, including a 24.3 ppg average her
senior season where she led her team to an
undefeated district record and regional
finalist appearance.
As a senior, Miller earned first team
All-State Class C, first team All-District,
and a member of the Class C Academic
All-State team as well as being named her
district’s most valuable player for the
second time in a row.
“She’s a tremendous shooter and has great
knowledge of the game,” said Lady Demon head
coach Jennifer Graf. “She’s going to be a
great addition to the Lady Demon family.” |
